director, producer, observer - I've been involved in esports since 1998 as a player and moved to an observer role in counter-strike. Since 2015 I've been involved in many events, spanning multiple game titles or shows from single player to battle royale. below is a handful of the events done in STUDIO, REMOTE Or hybrid.
ESPN - THE CEC
The ESPN Collegiate Esports Championship was the first of its kind, housing the championships of five game titles under a single LAN event. Players from hundreds of colleges throughout North America competed in a series of qualifiers, with 20 different universities qualifying for single, or multiple event championships. Leading up to the event, 6 episodes of the ‘Collegiate Esports Championship Countdown’ were produced and broadcasted on ESPN every Friday leading up to the Championship weekend, which boasted over 1 million viewers watched on Twitch.
TONY HAWK'S PRO SKATER 1+2 REMAKE
Chipotle, in partnership with Tony Hawk, revealed the new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game releasing later in 2020. Tony Hawk, Finn Wolfhard, and Jagger Eaton were featured in a one day broadcast promoting the new Tony Hawk game release, and providing promotional codes to access the game, as well as thousands of free Chipotle burritos. The broadcast featured webcams and game capture from the three celebrity participants who faced off in a series of in-game challenges while answering questions from fans.
I created and mailed out custom stream machines that allowed the talent to play each other and talk to one another in real time.

At the 2020 NBA All-Star I worked closely with Rick and another person to put on a drop in drop out, interview and play NBA2K session over 2 days In Chicago.
Hurdles such as doing Audio, Mixing, remote interviews in a live environment made this one of my favorite events.
BIG 12 ESPORTS CHALLENGE & MADDEN CHALLENGE
The Big 12 Esports Challenge is a series of tournaments featuring Madden NFL 20 and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. The Big 12 Conference Madden Challenge was a tournament featuring Madden and each school in the Big 12 having their own qualifier with the top players from each school moving onto the championship bracket for a $1000 prize pool. The Big 12 Esports Challenge was a Super Smash Bros tournament that was open to the community and had a $2000 prize pool split among the top 4 players.
MAAC ESPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP LIVE IN ATLANTIC CITY
The 2022 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Esports Championships were held in League of Legends, Overwatch, Rocket League, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate between March 10-12. I was the EIC and Stream 1 Technical/Director.
THE META
The META (1 season, 24 episodes) was a Attack of the Show style in studio show with live and edited content. I routed all cameras and audio in the studio, along with being the technical director, stream engineer, A1/2. This is where I also learned how hard lighting a full set is.

PUBGONLINE
PUBGOnline was the largest third party league for PUBG. Without official support from the game developer, It was a organic, grass roots effort to organize competitive gameplay for PUBG. By the end of the second season we acquired participation by notable teams such as FAZE, LIQUID, CLOUD9, METHOD, and of course TINDERGULD.

Standoff was a regional Smash Ultimate Tournament live In Houston with notable appearances by Elegant, Stroder, Shadow_PR. As a team of two we were able to maintain the standards of a larger team.

GARS MADDEN CHALLENGE
Great American Rivalry Series partnered with hundreds of highschool programs across the United States to host a Madden NFL 20 challenge series to replace their traditional football rivalry games due to Covid restrictions. The series garnered 2,657 signups, where players were broken into 8 different groups of play and would go on to compete in multiple tournament phases before reaching the championship. The event championship quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals were broadcasted allowing students to root for their respective school in the final bracket series.
PLAYERS NTWRK (that's how it's spelled, I promise)
Players Ntwrk was a fusion of TWITCH stars, rappers, and professional sports stars getting together to play different games. It ran for 3 months twice a week and it involved getting live player feeds. This was a fusion of a podcast and gaming session.
eFuse eRena, WOMEN OF THE eRena, RISE
eFuse is a company based out of Columbus, Ohio. I produced several COD Warzone and Fortnite kill races for them. Along side a large team I created a work flow that allowed observers to switch between all current participants.

CONFERENCE 1 VALORANT GRAND FINALS
CF1 is a college varsity esports organization where schools across the United States compete in Valorant.
FARMING SIMULATOR BOOTH AT THE HOUSTON RODEO 2020-2022
Held at the Rodeo in Houston, this live activation was a 6 player leaderboard style game that all attendees could walk up and play. I created a very simplified system that would start and stop the game, while also changing the house speakers and video to an automated script.

There's a studio behind that glass.
All jokes aside, I can use a Tricaster, ATEM, Carbonite, VMIX, OBS and more. Pushing buttons at the right time is the hard part. I am well versed in IT infrastructure and networking.
Here is a look at my home broadcast setup. There are three PCs and two laptops all connected via SDI with BlackMagic Decklink DUOS and SRT/NDI. The plant in the corner gives off much needed oxygen.
-Routing on my home system depending on the complexity of the show at hand.
